These tips & tricks are nothing but today's real world techniques – the same ones you see used by leading Photoshop photographers, designers, and special effect masters, and its all here in the only live workshop of its kind.

Class Schedule

Layers and Composting Techniques

10:00 to 11:00 A.M.
Knowing how to work with layers, how to composite multiple images, and knowing the secrets to creating seamless composites is the key to creating realistic collages, and in this class you'll see exactly how it's done, step-by-step, from beginning to end. If you ever felt you just didn't know enough about layers to take things to the next level, you will after this class!

Designing With Type

11:15 A.M. to 12:15 P.M.
If your Type doesn't look professional, it can sink the entire rest of your project, and in this session you'll learn not only the most important rules of typography, you'll learn how to make your type look it's very best, which has the power to take the look of your projects to a whole new level. But this class isn't just about typography; it's about how to design with type in a way that compliments the layout, photography, and design (rather than distracting from it). This is one fo those sessions that you'll be talking about for days! (Note: Scott taught this particular session at the Photoshop World Conference & Expo, where it was one of the most-attended sessions out of the 80+ sessions at the entire conference — it was standing room only with over 1,000 photographers, designers, and Photoshop users in the room!).

Photoshop Down & Dirty Tricks

1:15 to 2:30 P.M.
This is where you'll put to use everything you learned in the first part of the day, and add that to a load of new Photoshop special effects techniques to create those same looks you see on the Web, on TV, in magazines, and in popular culture every day. You'll learn everything step-by-step, from beginning to end, and after this class, not only will you know "How they do it," you'll be able to do it yourself!

Photoshop Killer Tips

2:45 to 3:45 P.M.
Special effects are a blast, and clients lose their mind over them, but at the end of the day, if you're not working efficiently, if you're not getting the job done quickly, and if you're still doing things "The hard way," you can't stay competitive in this market. This class is all about increasing your speed, sharing those little known-shortcuts, workaround, time-savers (and job savers) that will crank your productivity way, way up! Plus, you'll learn how add automation to your work, create cool effects in just seconds, and avoid duplicating your work by making the most of Photoshop's built-in features. This class is an absolute must if you make your living (or plan to make your living) using Photoshop.

Photoshop's Most Wanted

4:00 to 5:00 P.M.
We wrap the day up by sharing the pro's secrets on the most-requested, most-highly sought-after, and most closely guarded Photoshop techniques. These are the ones we get asked about again and again, and now we've put them together in this one session for the first time. Of course, the list of the "most wanted" change every year or so, but here you'll be learning only about today's most asked about techniques, and the most in-demand looks and Photoshop moves. By the end of this class, you'll brain will probably hurt, and that's why we give you a detailed workbook with everything we teach during the day, so when you get back to your office, or studio, you'll have it all, step-by-step, right there in front of you, so you can apply all of these techniques directly to your own work.
